HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — It was a day of demonstration in downtown Houston on Saturday for the “No Kings Day” protest.
Individuals are taking a stand in opposition to what they are saying is an overreach of President Donald Trump’s administration relating to immigration enforcement.
“To oppose what’s occurring in our nation and to make our voices heard,” protester Jyotika Kopur mentioned.
Protesters mentioned they’re marching for change.
“I do not need this nation to return. I grew up within the 50s. I do know what make America nice interval was, and it wasn’t this,” protester Sallie Derich mentioned,
Organizers, marchers, and lawmakers added that they’re protesting in opposition to President Trump’s administration over latest immigration deportations and civil rights.
