ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — After 14 years, the Golden Boot Awards are getting an overhaul, and it is all within the identify of getting extra enjoyable for an necessary trigger.
Honoring Our Fallen will host its greatest occasion of the 12 months on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Metropolis Nationwide Grove of Anaheim.
Among the many honorees for this 12 months’s awards are actor Dennis Quaid, Gold Star dad and mom Herman and Alicia Lopez, and Related Basic Contractors of California.

CEO and founder Laura Herzog stated after years of internet hosting its common gala, the nonprofit is opting to go “cowboy stylish” in 2025.

Turning their grief into motion, Herzog stated the Lopezes have been instrumental in offering aid to households like theirs, with Herman Lopez taking a management function within the Flag for Each Hero occasion.
The occasion sees American flags positioned on the graves of each service member at Riverside Nationwide Cemetery every Memorial Day.
