ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — Dramatic bodycam video launched Friday reveals the second Anaheim police unleashed a hail of gunfire and killed a driver on the finish of a chaotic chase.
The pursuit started after a report of pictures fired on the Kona Motel on Brookhurst Road in Anaheim April 16. Video from the body-worn cameras of responding officers reveals a person pleading for assist exterior the motel.
“I want an ambulance now… He shot me within the abdomen,” the taking pictures sufferer says within the video.
Police rapidly noticed the gunman’s pickup truck fleeing the motel, prompting a pursuit.
