SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Los Angeles Hearth Division firefighters battled a hearth at a garden-style house constructing that burned six automobiles and a bike inside a carport Thursday morning in Sherman Oaks.
Hearth crews responded to 12940 W Burbank Blvd., west of Coldwater Canyon at 4:10 a.m. the place they proceeded to the carport, which is hooked up to the rear of the two-story house, discovered and extinguished the flames, mentioned LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
It took 45 firefighters 43 minutes to extinguish the hearth.
No accidents have been reported and the reason for the hearth is beneath investigation.
Division of Water and Energy crews shut off energy to close by properties as a precaution as they examined the harm to electrical strains.
