WAYNE, Mich. — A Michigan police chief stated church employees stopped a person armed with a handgun and an extended gun, averting a possible mass capturing at a church west of Detroit on Sunday morning.
Chief Ryan Sturdy stated parishioners at CrossPointe Neighborhood Church in Wayne noticed the gunman driving recklessly after which noticed him exit his car sporting a tactical vest and carrying weapons.
