CHICAGO — A tech outage led United Airways to floor flights nationwide Wednesday evening, and even with the difficulty now resolved, over 1,000 flights have been delayed and dozens canceled.
The outage stemmed from a difficulty with the airline’s weight and steadiness laptop system, United mentioned.
“As a result of a expertise challenge, we’re holding United mainline flights at their departure airports,” the airline mentioned in an announcement. “We count on extra flight delays this night as we work via this challenge.
