HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A Houston man is talking out after he and his teen brothers say they had been held at gunpoint Friday by a person posing as a police officer.
It occurred on Friday in northwest Harris County at a park on Morton Street.
In accordance with courtroom information, Mica Brown approached the three victims as a result of they had been lighting fireworks close to his dwelling.
He first informed them he was “a Harris County cop,” which the Harris County Sheriff’s workplace has since confirmed shouldn’t be true. Brown is a detention officer on the county jail’s processing heart.
“It spooked us, to be sincere, as a result of it was out of nowhere he simply walked up, appeared all mad, and he was already clutching,” the sufferer, who didn’t need to be recognized, stated. “It appeared like he was already clutching underneath his shirt.”
In a video recording by the sufferer, the officer might be heard yelling expletives. The victims requested he be respectful, however he then replied, “I am going to knock your (expletive) jaw off.”
The younger man recording the heated alternate says it occurred round 8 p.m.
Issues turned bodily when Brown allegedly knocked the sufferer’s cellphone down.
In accordance with investigators, a 16-year-old who was current bent down to choose it up, and that is when Brown pulled a gun from his waistband and loaded the chamber.

Extra video from the evening of the incident seems to indicate Brown being taken away in handcuffs.
Investigators stated when he was arrested, he reeked of alcohol and appeared intoxicated.
Brown was in courtroom Saturday. He’s dealing with three prices of aggravated assault and a 3rd cost for allegedly impersonating a public servant.
“He may’ve requested us respectfully. I imply, I get it we’re popping fireworks, and you reside proper there, however there are alternative ways to strategy a scenario,” the sufferer stated.
