Home falls into Russian River after landslide in Forestville, Sonoma County; residents evacuated, authorities say


FORESTVILLE, Calif. (KGO) — A house fell into the Russian River Tuesday afternoon after a landslide in Forestville, forcing a number of to evacuate their houses, in line with authorities.

Sonoma County fireplace officers say the house slid into the river round 12:30 p.m. close to the Forest Hills-Hacienda Bridge and is floating downstream.

The sheriff’s workplace says the house was not occupied and no person was injured on this landslide.
