SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KGO) — A mom is trying to find another piece to her son’s memorial bench, destroyed within the Santa Cruz Wharf collapse.

Each time Roberta Rodriguez misses her son, she involves Santa Cruz the place he liked the water.

In 2005, her son, David handed away when he was 22 years previous.

A bench memorializing David sat on the finish of the Santa Cruz Wharf. However on Monday, it was swept away and destroyed when excessive swells brought about the top of the wharf to break down.
