All lanes of the Katy Freeway close to Dairy Ashford Highway in Houston shall be closed this weekend whereas CenterPoint Vitality conducts work on electrical transmission strains.
The closure from 5 a.m. Saturday till 5 a.m. Monday will have an effect on a piece of the freeway, which is a stretch of Interstate 10, close to the West Sam Houston Tollway and Dairy Ashford in west Houston.
All lanes in each instructions of the freeway and the west-bound exit ramps from the West Sam Houston Tollway shall be closed.
The work was scheduled to occur earlier this month however was postponed. CenterPoint encourages drivers to plan additional journey time, stay aware of labor zones and observe posted detours.

The southbound lanes of the Hardy Toll Highway from Interstate 45 to Loop 610 North shall be closed from 10 p.m. Friday by 6 p.m. Saturday for the Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas North American Championship triathlon, in response to the Harris County Toll Highway Authority.
