LA Metropolis Council to vote on motions aimed toward defending immigrants amid federal ICE crackdown


LOS ANGELES (CNS) — The Metropolis Council will vote Wednesday on a bundle of motions aimed toward defending immigrants in Los Angeles amid a federal crackdown and threats to so-called sanctuary cities.

In February, Metropolis Councilman Hugo Soto-Martinez launched 5 motions to assist the immigrant neighborhood.
