Man charged with aggravated assault with a lethal weapon after making an attempt to set one among his co-workers on hearth with Lysol flamethrower


TOMBALL, Texas (KTRK) — A person is below arrest after making an attempt to set one among his co-workers on hearth with a makeshift flamethrower.

Khalid Elhindi, 28, is accused of beating the sufferer when his makes an attempt to gentle him on hearth proved unsuccessful.

The assault occurred on Monday afternoon within the parking zone of the Imperial Star Photo voltaic manufacturing unit in Tomball, the place each males work.

Police say Elhindi approached the sufferer and poured a Gatorade bottle full of gasoline on him after confirming his id.

They mentioned he then started chasing the sufferer whereas spraying a can of Lysol and used a cigarette lighter to attempt to ignite the Lysol.

Based on prosecutors, Elhindi accused the sufferer of doing one thing to Elhindi’s mom in Sudan.

However the sufferer advised police he would not know Elhindi’s mom and has by no means been to Sudan.

Elhindi solely caught up with the sufferer when he tripped and fell.

Police say he straddled the sufferer and tried once more to gentle him on hearth, however the lighter would not work.

At that time, he is accused of punching the sufferer, who says two of his ankle bones have been damaged together with a number of facial bones.

Police say witnesses intervened and prevented Elhindi from doing additional injury.

He is been charged with aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
