WESTBURY, New York — A 61-year-old man has died from his accidents after he was magnetically pulled into an MRI machine whereas sporting a metallic chain on Lengthy Island in New York.
It occurred at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury simply after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Detectives say the 61-year-old man walked into an MRI room whereas a scan was in progress and was drawn into the machine.
Officers say the incident brought on a medical episode, and the person was rushed to a neighborhood hospital in important situation.
He was pronounced useless on Thursday afternoon.
Nassau County police say that the sufferer was not a affected person, and was there with another person.
The investigation is ongoing, however police say there is no such thing as a criminality concerned, and it seems to be an accident.
