HOUSTON — Supporters gathered at Gallery Furnishings in Richmond Friday afternoon to welcome house Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale house after he underwent open coronary heart surgical procedure final week.
The favored furnishings salesman and philanthropist loved some star remedy, posing for photographs and signing autographs. McIngvale informed KHOU 11 he could not wait to get again into the shop — along with his physician’s blessing, in fact.
“I am glad to be again at work,” he stated. “I requested my physician, I stated, ‘What ought to I do, doc?’ He stated, ‘Return to work.’ I stated,’ you are my type of man.'”
His supporters made positive to indicate him loads of love in his return.
“Nice man, he is carried out loads for town,” one supporter stated.
“Houston legend,” stated one other. “I really like you Mattress Mack.”
McIngvale stated he is completely satisfied to serve the group.
“Feels nice. McIngvale underwent the surgical procedure on December 10 and has been engaged on his restoration ever since.
