COSTA MESA, Calif. (KABC) — A Costa Mesa girl is going through felony prices for allegedly registering her canine to vote and utilizing the pet’s title to vote in two elections, prosecutors mentioned Friday.
Laura Lee Yourex, 62, is accused of utilizing her canine’s title to vote within the 2021 California gubernatorial recall election and the 2022 main election, in accordance with an announcement from the Orange County District Legal professional’s Workplace. Mail-in ballots have been used to forged the votes, prosecutors allege.

Prosecutors say Yourex posted a photograph on social media in January 2022 of her canine, Maya, sporting “an ‘I voted’ sticker and posing along with her poll.”
