Postal employee dies after crash in northwest Harris County; driver charged, officers say


A postal employee is lifeless, and a driver is in custody following a crash on Antoine Drive in northwest Harris County, in accordance with the sheriff.

What we all know:

The crash was reported Saturday morning within the 11700 block of Antoine, close to West Greens Street. 

Authorities say the crash concerned a postal automobile and a pickup truck. The motive force of the postal automobile was taken to a hospital and later pronounced deceased.

In keeping with a sergeant on the scene, the pickup driver fled a minor crash on Antoine and Veterans Memorial Drive. The motive force was allegedly dashing and misplaced management when he rear-ended the postal truck.

The sergeant stated the pickup driver took a sobriety take a look at and confirmed indicators of intoxication.

The Harris County District Lawyer’s Workplace has reportedly been contacted, and so they accepted a cost of intoxication manslaughter.

What we do not know:

Nobody concerned has been recognized presently. In keeping with the sergeant, the postal employee was 58 years outdated, and the suspect is 48 years outdated.
