PARK CITY, Utah — The Sundance Movie Pageant 2025 is formally underway in Park Metropolis, Utah.
It is the biggest unbiased movie pageant within the U.S., with programming starting from film premieres to filmmaker discussions.
On The Crimson Carpet spoke to Kim Yutani, the Director of Programming for the pageant, who stated, “We’re so excited to have over 150 initiatives, options, shorts, episodic, inclusive that will probably be launching this pageant.”
Marlee Matlin’s “Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore” was the primary documentary to premiere on the pageant this 12 months.
“Properly, I imply Sundance of all locations, and to open the pageant, I am not complaining,” she stated.

We spoke with Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, who directed the movie.
