HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Three boys ages 12 to fifteen are within the hospital, having been shot by a person Harris County investigators imagine they tried to rob at gunpoint Christmas night.
The capturing occurred on the Willow Plaza Flats on N. Houston Rosslyn Highway close to Smiling Wooden.
ABC13 spoke off digital camera with the girlfriend of the 25-year-old man who allegedly shot the three boys.
She stated the couple was coming residence from a Christmas celebration on the time of the incident.
The lady stated she had fallen asleep, and her boyfriend opened the automobile door to hold her inside when no less than 4 armed boys surrounded them.
Initially, she stated her boyfriend thought the theft was a prank as a result of the boys had been so younger.
One of many boys, who authorities say is 12 years outdated, is reportedly in essential situation.
“One of many cops was making an attempt to maintain him coherent and every little thing, and he stated, ‘What did you get for Christmas?'” Bruce Bailey, who witnessed the capturing, stated and referred to the 12-year-old as a child.
“Being that age, you are presupposed to be with your loved ones,” Willow Plaza resident Monique Robledo stated.
A public data officer for the Harris County Sheriff’s Workplace stated the 25-year-old cooperated with investigators. At the moment, he’s not dealing with prices.
