Man found lifeless in Buffalo Bayou after trying to flee from Houston officers, police stated – Houston Public Media

A person who tried to flee from officers following a site visitors cease and pursuit died after leaping into Buffalo Bayou Friday, police stated.

Officers initiated a site visitors cease on a black Kia Sorrento in west Houston round 2 a.m. Friday earlier than the car fled, main officers to the Second Ward, Assistant Chief Luis Menendez-Sierra stated.

The car gave the impression to be stolen out of Fort Value, he stated.

Close to the 400 block of Jensen, the car drove by a parking zone and struck a guard rail that was main all the way down to the bayou. 4 males exited the car, two of which surrendered to officers.
